Joe Houghton, Twin Cities Residential Real Estate Advisor

I have been selling real estate throughout the Twin Cities Metro area since 2002 and have closed over 145 transactions with a 100% customer satisfaction rating.  I am a graduate of Robbinsdale Armstrong High School, St. John’s University and a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute.  I am a licensed eco-broker and electronic professional, a certified short sale and foreclosure resource and am quality service certified.

As a Realtor I help home owners throughout the Twin Cities sell their homes, condominiums, townhomes and investment properties in the least amount of time for the highest amount of money and with the least amount of inconvenience as possible.  Over the last 8 years I have developed the most aggressive marketing system in the industry. I utilize cutting edge advertising programs and create an emotional appeal to expose my listings to as many potential buyers as possible.  My mission is to maximize my client’s bottom line while giving them honest advice and unparalleled service.  My goal is to leave my clients with an impression that they will not forget and experience that they will want to share with everyone they know.

As a short sale and foreclosure specialist I am able to help home-owners avoid foreclosure and advise them on the positives and negative implications that a short sale will have on their ability to purchase another home in the future.

Since 2006 I have been working with banks and asset managers to help them unload the distressed properties they have acquired through foreclosure.  Doing this has helped me give my clients the inside track into purchasing foreclosures and a wealth of knowledge that helps my clients structure their offers to beat out the competition.

It feels really good when I can help home owners and home buyers purchase and sell there home through a process known as a short sale.  A successful short sale can result in a home owner avoiding foreclosure and a homebuyer purchasing a home that is substantially below market value.
